Turn on Device<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

  1. Connect sensor cable to the station (marked SENSOR 1).<\/span><\/li>
  2. Connect the manikin to the station (marked SOURCE).<\/li>
  3. Switch the hardware power button of the station to position ‘1’ (light turns on).<\/li>
  4. The system will start automatically, check the hardware and after about 60 seconds the system is ready.<\/li><\/ol>

    Remark:<\/p>

    The system is very sensitive to external magnetic fields, including any<\/p>

    materials that can affect such fields, that means:<\/span><\/p>

    • ferromagnetic materials like metall on the floor,<\/li>
    • table construction or heating<\/li><\/ul>

      Always use the shutdown procedure via the software. If the device stops responding at all, you can crash it if necessary!<\/p>

      1. Press Power off<\/strong> on the control screen and confirm. The corresponding shutdown procedures are displayed on both screens.<\/li>
      2. After the shutdown is complete, set the hardware shutdown to ‘O’ (light turns off).<\/li>

        1. Use the Select Module<\/strong> button and select the desired module in the popup dialog and then your submodule\/course.<\/li>
        2. Now select the desired patient in the Select Case<\/strong> list box. In the Load Volume<\/strong> area, you will find various exposures associated with the selected patient.<\/li><\/ol>

          You can see the position<\/strong> of the individual volumes of the selected exposure in the image below. Arrows<\/strong> indicate a lateral volume. Bars<\/strong> indicate the position on the abdomen.             Place the probe on a position on the manikin where a volume is expected according to the icon.
